NGILU is more experienced than KALONZO – Elders say as she releases manifesto TODAY

Friday August 31, 2012 - Water and Irrigation minister Charity Ngilu will release her presidential manifesto today.

The National Rainbow Coalition (NARC) leader will unveil her blue print to the media at around 10 am at the Hotel Intercontinental, Nairobi.

Ngilu who is also the Kitui Central Legislator will host the media ahead of Sunday’s re-launch of the party and the unveiling of her presidential bid.

On Tuesday, a group of Kamba elders endorsed Mrs Ngilu’s presidential bid saying she is more experienced than Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka.

In 1997, Ngilu made history by becoming the first female presidential candidate in Kenya.

Ngilu finished 5th in the election won by former President Moi.
