Our moles' curiosity was piqued the other day when they spotted Eldoret North MP and URP presidential aspirant William Ruto in deep conversation with Co-operatives Development minister Joe Nyagah. The two— members of the ODM Pentagon— were having breakfast. The conversation last for slightly more than an hour but our moles were just too far away to hear what the two were discussing.

An aspirant for the position of governor in Nakuru is said to be spreading fear among country residents by his association with people known to be sympathizers of an illegal militia groups. The aspirant  has been hosting some of the members of the group in his home and in Nakuru town where he is allegedly seeking their support in his campaign for the senate.Local residents are worried by the turn of events and have voiced their concerns saying they would vote for any other candidate other than the man.

Staff at the ODM secretariat at Orange House are today expected to start a go slow over what they described are disparities in the salaries and allowances they are receiving and those being paid to their colleagues working at the Raila Presidential Campaign Secretariat. Orange House staff claim their counterparts at the Eliud Owallo-led secretariat earn three times more yet they (Orange House) staff do the ‘donkey work’. The Orange staff have been pushing head of secretariat Janet Ong’era and party secretary general Anyang Nyong’o to address the disparities without success

Kingwa Kamecu isa 20-plus something aspirant for the presidency. As a young person, she has been prolific in using social media to connect with young people whom she says are lacking representation and whose votes she is seeking to attain her ambition. Last Thursday, this posting on her Facebook page got our wags talking: " Its Friday tomorrow. Weekends make me think of sex. Following this, we will be picking up on the First Gentleman recruitment programme, Kisumu Chapter, tomorrow. Interested applicants are asked to present themselves at the Signature Night Club from 10pm after which further instructions will be provided."
